VINYL FLOORING
THE COMPOSITION
Luxury vinyl flooring embodies the marriage of form and function, artistry and engineering. It is crafted using multiple layers, each playing a crucial role in delivering outstanding performance and aesthetics:

1 -Wear Layer
The topmost layer serves as a robust shield against the rigors of daily life, offering impeccable resistance against scratches, stains, and fading. It ensures your flooring retains its pristine appearance, even in high-traffic areas.
2 -Luxury Vinyl Print
Situated just beneath the wear layer is the design layer, where the magic of realistic wood or stone visuals comes to life. This layer is where meticulous attention to detail meets cutting-edge printing technology, resulting in floors that authentically replicate the look and texture of natural materials.
3 -Rigid Core
The heart of luxury vinyl flooring lies in its core layer, which can be either Stone Polymer Composite (SPC) or Wood Polymer Composite (WPC). This layer provides essential structural support and dimensional stability to the flooring, ensuring it can withstand the test of time.
4 - Atached Underlayment
The bottom layer, known as the backing layer, is designed to offer additional reinforcement and contribute to sound insulation, further enhancing your flooring's performance.

What's The Difference Between LVP And LVT Flooring?
Both luxury vinyl plank flooring (LVP) and luxury vinyl tile flooring (LVT) are types of luxury vinyl flooring.
The distinction between them is merely decorative. LVP flooring replicates the appearance of hardwood in each way possible, from species to color.
Surface textures typically contain marks and scratches to enhance realism exceptionally. LVT flooring recreates the appearance and feel of stone or tiles, full of gorgeous natural hues and sensational surface attributes that feel authentic. Luxury vinyl plank and tile are highly sought-after for hallways, bathrooms, laundry rooms, and kitchens.
That being said, luxury vinyl flooring is a phenomenal selection for any room in the house. These floors withstand stains and damage due to their tough, waterproof surfaces.

Professional Luxury Vinyl Flooring (LVT/LVP) Installation
Installing luxury vinyl flooring (LVT/LVP) demands higher technical precision than laminate, especially regarding subfloor preparation. The inherent flexibility of vinyl requires a perfectly flat and smooth subfloor to prevent any imperfections from "telegraphing" through the surface, which would compromise aesthetics and durability
Prerequisites and Site Preparation
The foundation is critical, and adherence to these steps ensures a flawless finish:
Subfloor Inspection and Leveling: The subfloor must be inspected with a straightedge to ensure it is level within the manufacturer's specified tolerance (typically 3mm over a 1.2-meter span). Any unevenness must be corrected with a self-leveling compound or by sanding.
Moisture Testing: It is essential to perform moisture tests, especially on concrete subfloors or in high-humidity areas. Excessive moisture can lead to issues such as bubbling, adhesive failure, and mold formation.
Surface Cleaning: The subfloor must be impeccably clean, dry, and free of any debris, dust, grease, or old adhesive residues that could compromise adhesion or plank locking.
Material Acclimation: Allow the sealed vinyl boxes to acclimate in the installation area for a minimum of 48 hours to let the material adjust to the room's temperature and humidity.
Technical Installation Procedure
The method varies depending on the type of vinyl:
Floating Systems (Click-Lock)

-
Layout and Locking: Begin the layout from the longest wall. Planks are locked together using a click-and-lock system. It is crucial to ensure a firm, secure lock without using excessive force to avoid damage.
 -
Expansion Gaps: Maintain a perimeter gap, as specified by the manufacturer, to allow for the material's expansion and contraction. This gap will be covered by baseboards or transition profiles.
 -
Joint Staggering: Planks must be installed with staggered end joints to avoid a "step" or "H" pattern, which appears unprofessional and can compromise structural stability.

Glue-Down Systems (Dryback)
-
Adhesive Application: Apply the adhesive to the subfloor using a specific notched trowel, following the manufacturer's instructions for adhesive coverage and open time.
 -
Plank Placement: Each plank is carefully positioned and pressed firmly into the adhesive. Precise alignment is essential, as glue-down vinyl is less forgiving of placement errors.
 -
Rolling: After installation, the entire surface must be rolled with a 100-pound floor roller to ensure complete adhesive transfer and maximum bond.

Finishing and Care
-
Remove Spacers: For floating systems, remove all spacers before installing baseboards, which should be secured only to the wall.
 -
Transition Profiles: Install transition profiles in doorways and where the vinyl meets other flooring types.
 -
Cleaning: Remove any adhesive residue or dirt. Strict adherence to cleaning and maintenance guidelines is essential, using only recommended pH-neutral cleaners
